Dora laughs.

“Aggie.”

“It is. This shouldn't be legal.”

I take another bite.

“This might be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth.”

Silence.

My eyes pop open.

Wulfy suddenly becomes extremely interested in his dessert. Dora is biting her lip.

And Grimm—Grimm is staring at me.

Like he wants to challenge that statement personally.

Heat burns up my neck.

“I meant food.”

“I didn't say anything.”

“You didn't have to.”

His mouth curves. That damned eyebrow goes up. I point my spoon at him.

“Don't.”

“Wouldn't dream of it.”

I eat another bite.

“I love chocolate.”

“I know.”

My spoon stops halfway to my mouth.

Something about the way he says it sends heat racing up my spine.

I look at him. His gaze holds mine.

“I don't remember telling you that.”

For the first time all evening, Grimm hesitates.

Barely.

Then he nods toward my dessert.

“You don't exactly hide your enthusiasm.”

“Oh.”

Right, of course.
