Jethro

Jethro Lyons was part of an elite team of Marines. He was lucky enough to have Grayson Michaels on his team, guiding him to the Shadow Warriors team. After enduring Hurricane Irene and helping with the clean-up afterwards, Jethro is asked to step in at the Belle Fleur Fire Department to lend a hand. He and others are more than happy to do so but when Jethro sees a familiar face on the team, he can’t believe his luck. The woman he’d carried from a hut in a land too far away to even think about any longer, is standing right in front of him. Smiling, he reaches to shake her hand, but when he introduces himself, her reaction is not what he expected.

Aurora Langley’s life has been planned out by her parents since childhood. Always dressed to impressed. The finest schools. Connections most people never imagine can happen. But Aurora wants more than to just be a wife to a cheating man with more money than common sense. Taking the opportunity to go abroad and help others felt like it was the right thing to do, until tragedy struck. Back home, she is pushed by her family again, told to forget her ordeal and move on. So, she did. She moved on to a career with the BFFD, never expecting to meet the man that changed her life.

But Aurora’s family is hiding more secrets than the government and her own life could be in jeopardy because of it. Good thing she is at Belle Fleur.
