I came to this farm for a pumpkin.
I did not plan to end up wearing one.

It started innocently enough. I was reaching for the perfect specimen — very large, extremely orange, absolutely the wrong thing to be climbing a stack of crates to get to — and then the crates were sideways and I was on the ground and the most infuriatingly handsome man in Montana was standing over me holding a knife.
To cut the pumpkin. To cover me up. Because apparently my dress lost an argument with a fence post on the way down.
Deck Connors didn’t want visitors on his property today. He didn’t want to carve emergency modesty coverings out of gourds. And he definitely didn’t want to find a woman he couldn’t stop thinking about stranded in his pumpkin patch with ruined clothing and zero shame about it.
I stayed for dinner. He pretended to be annoyed about it.

He made the best chili I have ever eaten and then sat across from me like I was a problem he hadn’t solved yet.
He hasn’t solved me.
He’s trying very hard.

Rescued by the Mountain Man’s Pumpkin is a steamy, funny, ridiculously warm standalone harvest romance featuring a grumpy farmer who did not consent to any of this and a sunshine woman who is going to make his autumn completely impossible. No cheating. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA — plus one extremely memorable pumpkin.
