They were always going to break the rules.
Noah didn’t really think things through when he agreed to be his brother’s best man. Now he’s stuck in a tiny village on an island in the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by family and strangers, with no way to escape. Within the first week he’s feeling like lightning ready to strike at the slightest provocation. And yet somehow, a man he hasn’t seen in nine years manages to calm the storm within.
Noah was eighteen the last time he saw Robbie. He can still remember his infatuation with the twenty-three-year-old Scotsman, and seeing him again after all these years threatens to bring all those feelings back. But Robbie isn’t what Noah needs, and he’s definitely not what he wants.
~
Robbie is in a world of trouble. His best friend’s little brother has just crash-landed back into his life, taken all Robbie’s rules about not getting attached, crushed them to pieces, and handed them back to him as if to say, We’re doing things my way now.
And Robbie is going to let him—even if breaking his rules means breaking his heart.
I’d Kiss You in the Rain is a Best Friend’s Brother MM romance that ends in a cliff hanger. This is a prequel to Book 2 Don’t Make My Mistakes. As with all my books this short story contains scenes that may be distressing for some. Please read the content warnings. This story also contains a lot of spoilers for The Face of My Killer as the timelines run parallel.
