When Jane Bennet’s whirlwind romance with Charles Bingley brings the Bennet and Bingley families together at Netherfield, Elizabeth Bennet finds herself spending far more time in the company of Fitzwilliam Darcy than either of them anticipated.

From their first meeting, Elizabeth and Darcy clash. She finds him proud, aloof, insufferably opinionated and somewhat disdainful of the feelings of others; he finds her spirited, impertinent, and impossible to ignore.
