His eyes open, and he meets my gaze. “Yes.”

“You want me?”

His trembling hand reaches for me, curling around the side of my jaw. “More than anything. Please. I want to feel you stretch me wide open.”

I take a heavy breath, hold it, then thrust forward hard enough that he takes all of me in the first thrust. Easton’s head falls back, and he lets out a shout as I take his leg and angle him the way I know will rail his prostate with every roll of my hips.

The color on his chest darkens, and his thighs begin to shake as I pull out and thrust in, over and over, the sound of my skin slapping his a punctuation to his heavy, heady moans.

“Please,” he’s gasping when I can finally make sense of the words tumbling from his lips. “Please, please, please…”

I know I can make him come untouched, but I don’t want that today. I want to feel the power in my hand as I stroke him and take him over the edge with me. Closing my eyes again, I let myself simply feel the way he’s squeezing around me and the pleasure that’s erupting in my veins. I chase it with harder, heavier thrusts, and I picture him riding me one day.

That thought alone has me teetering on the edge, so I grab his cock and begin to stroke—hard and fast, with the motion of my hips.

The sound coming from Easton now is somewhere between a moan and a sob, and he manages to get both hands on my hips, pulling me harder against him, taking me deeper.

I roll my hips in a circle, and he lets out a sharp shout just as my orgasm begins to hit me. It’s a honey-thick, burning hot wave, and my vision whites out for a second as I feel my balls pull up, and then I’m spilling deep inside him.

His hand closes around mine, forcing me to stroke him faster, and with one last hard nudge into his ass, his cock grows fatter in my hand and then throbs with his spill. Hot ropes spurt over his stomach, and I only get a quick look at the mess before my arms give out and I collapse against his chest.

My cock slips out before it’s soft, but it doesn’t really matter. Easton’s arms are around me, and he’s humming against my temple, kissing the spot beside my ear.

“Amazing,” he whispers. “Amazing.”

“Yes, you are,” I tell him when I finally have my voice back.

His eyes open, and he takes me by the chin and gives me a deep, messy kiss. “I will never get tired of that.”

I laugh softly and don’t tell him that he might, because right now, I don’t think I will either. If I could live on this feeling alone, I would be immortal.

TWENTY-THREE

EASTON

We’re halfway to the station, my ass deliciously sore, my body satisfied, when Rune’s phone begins to ring. He answers, and while I can’t hear who’s on the other line, I see his face go drawn and a little pale.

“Yeah…yeah. I can do that. I have to swing by the station right now to take care of some paperwork, but I’ll drop by after. Do you know how long it’ll—oh. Yeah. No, that’s fine. See you soon.”

I give him a moment after he’s hung up before I speak again. “Stuff about Neal?”

“I have his arraignment date and time. And Detective Ahmed wants me to come in for a statement. She said she’s going to be calling you shortly. She needs witness statements.”

Fantastic. I want to do everything I can to help, but reliving the whole story is getting emotionally exhausting. I reach over with my free hand to take Rune’s, and our fingers tangle together and stay that way until I pull into the parking lot beside Cam’s truck.

“Let’s give ourselves a time limit so we don’t get sucked into conversation,” Rune says. “Say half an hour? Just blame the detective if you have to.”

I laugh. “It’s fine. I’m sure Cam’s going to offer to throw us a barbeque at some point soon. They can get all the gossip then.”

Rune smiles, then leans in to steal a quick kiss before opening his door. “I’m going to chat with Teddy for a bit, then go see Camilo. Meet you down here?”

I give him a quick salute and then make my way in through the EMT side of the building. I see Logan at one of the computers on the far side of the room, and his friend Matty is back, sitting on the couch with his phone to his ear.

“They should just give you a job at this point,” I say.

Matty jumps a little and offers a sheepish smile. “I don’t think they let blind guys drive the trucks out on the street. And it’s…” He stops and frowns. “Easton, yeah?”

“It’s good to see you,” I tell him, plopping on the arm of the second couch. “Does Logan keep dragging you here?”
