The rear door opens. A man steps out. Black dress shoes touch the pavement.
Then long legs.
Dark trousers.
Broad shoulders.
My heart stops.
No.
Freaking.
Way.
Grimm Palermo straightens beside the limousine.
For a second, I forget how breathing works. It's been almost a month since Back to School Night. Almost a month since those eyes watched me walk away.
And somehow he's even more devastating than I remember.
Dark gaze.
Dark hair.
Powerful body.
That same effortless air of authority that makes him look like he owns everything within a five-mile radius. Including the limousine.
Of course, he owns the limousine.
Why wouldn't he?
Grimm's gaze moves past Dora. Finds me. And stops.
He’s giving me a look. The look. And my stomach flips.
Hell, my knees threaten mutiny.
And something entirely different from what I feel around my Wolf wakes up inside me.
Heat.
Pure, feminine heat.
Dora looks between us.
Then smiles.
Oh, no. I know that smile.
“Aggie,” she says far too innocently, “this is Grimm.” Her eyes sparkle. “I believe you've met.”
“We have.”
Grimm's voice rolls across the space between us.
Deep.
