I kissed her.
Sam tried to keep that little attitude for about two seconds before she kissed me back, her hand coming up around the back of my neck.
“See,” I mumbled against her lips. “All that fucking running your mouth.”
“Boy, shut up.”
I kissed her again.
Somebody across the room whistled.
“Okaaaay!” Nesha yelled.
Sam pulled away laughing.
“See! Now everybody fucking looking.”
“Let ‘em.”
I smacked her ass hard enough for the sound to carry.
“Xay!”
The whole fucking room heard that one.
Tyler started laughing.
“Take that shit upstairs, nigga.”
“I tried!” I yelled back.
“No, the fuck you didn’t,” Sam said, pushing me again.
“I literally just asked you.”
“At your brother’s Thanksgiving!”
“And?”
She looked at me like I was fucking stupid.
I laughed and caught her around the waist one more time, kissing the side of her face before letting her go.
“Go ahead.”
“Thank you.”
I smacked her ass again when she walked off.
Sam spun around.
“Do it again.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time.”
Everybody around us laughed.
I grinned and took another sip of my drink while she walked away shaking her head.
