I folded my arms.

“Go.”

He looked at me.

“Go wherever the fuck you were already at.”

Xay snatched the door open and walked out.

I stood there staring at it after it slammed shut.

Something wasn’t right.

And I wasn’t talking about him forgetting Zion.

Xay lied to me.

I knew he lied to me.

I just didn’t know what the fuck he was lying about yet.

HEATHER

I felt so fucking good after that shower.

I had to be in there damn near an hour.

I washed my hair, shaved what I could comfortably reach, exfoliated, stood under that hot-ass water until it started turning lukewarm. I ain’t even care. After ten days of somebody constantly needing my titties, needing to be changed, needing to be rocked, needing something every two fucking hours, that shower felt like a vacation.

When I finally stepped out, I actually felt like Heather again.

A little bit.

I stood in front of the mirror in my towel, looking at myself.

My stomach was still swollen. Faja marks around my waist. Titties huge as fuck. Nipples sore. Face tired.

But I still looked good.

“Okay, bitch,” I murmured.

I had my appointment with my OB next week, and I already knew I needed to get my ass back in this club as soon as I was medically cleared.

Not dancing right away.

I wasn’t stupid.

But something.

Freckles had been my money for years. My regulars were probably already throwing dollars at some new bitch pretending they forgot about me.

Fuck that.

My phone lit up on the counter.

Destiny: Coming to see my godbaby. You need anything?

I smiled.
