That shut me up.

Because I wasn’t.

And he knew it.

Worse?

I knew it.

He kept going. In and out. Quiet, the only thing you heard was the soft squelsh of how wet I was. My hand stayed on his shoulder like that was gonna help me stay quiet with the kids upstairs.

My thighs started shaking.

“Fuck…I’m bout to cum.”

He chuckled against my ear.

“See? I ain’t even inside you fully and I already got you nuttin on my hand, Sam.”

I gripped his shoulder harder, trying not to make a sound, coming on his fingers right there in my living room.

“Xavier can walk in any fucking second,” I whispered.

His mouth curved near my ear.

“You keep saying that but ain’t tell me to stop yet.”

I quivered because this was fuckin crazy.

I opened my mouth.

Nothing came out.

Because what the fuck was I supposed to say?

That I’d been thinking about him for almost two weeks?

That every time Xay touched me lately, some fucked-up part of my brain remembered Levin’s hands instead?

That I was sober now and still wasn’t moving?

His forehead nearly touched mine.

“Tell me to stop, Sam.”

I swallowed.

I didn’t.

Then the bottom-floor door slammed shut.

My entire fucking body froze. My eyes shot toward the living-room doorway.

“Lev,” I whispered. “That’s Xavier. Stop.”

He chuckled.

Actually fucking chuckled.
