“I’m sure it is,” he said. “You’re back early.”

“Well, my parents wanted to get back on the road,” I answered with a shrug.

And honestly, I was worried about him. When we got to the chapel I’d seen his parents with his sister, hugging her and talking animatedly. It was so different to how stiff and formal they’d been with him.

It made me realize some things about him that had me concerned. Like maybe all of his masochism stemmed from the lack of attention they seemed to pay him. Like he’d learned that any attention was better than no attention.

“Did you have a nice visit?” he asked, clearly unaware of the spiral going on in my head.

“Yeah,” I said. “How was your day?”

“Fucking weird,” he answered, chuckling. “I ran into Mark’s brother.”

I felt that strange spark of jealousy light up in my chest again and even though I tried to keep it off my face, the grin he gave me told me that I’d failed.

“Relax,” he said. “He apologized for Mark. Then threatened Mark. And I think that drama is finally resolved. It’s not like we ran off to a classroom together or anything.”

“I’m sorry,” I said, blowing out a sigh. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”

“You’re possessive. Kind of dim. Think you’re funnier than you really are.”

“Ouch!” I said, poking him in the ribs. “You’re awfully lippy tonight.”

“I’m lippy every night,” he insisted, sitting up and setting his can on the desk before grabbing my hand. “Is it bad that I’m glad you came back early?”

“Nope,” I assured him. “I like when I get you all to myself, too.”

“Oh yeah?”

I leaned forward and captured his lips with mine, crawling over his body and settling myself on top of him as I attacked his mouth with my tongue.

He moaned as he slid his hands up my back, clinging to me as he wrapped one his legs around my thigh, arching his hips into me, his erection growing hard against mine.

God, how was it possible to want someone this much all the time?

“Can I ask you something?”

“You can ask me anything,” he insisted, looking up to meet my gaze.

“Have you ever just had sex with someone?” I asked him.

“What?”

“I mean, I know you’re into…” I waved my hand awkwardly between us. “But have you ever just had normal, vanilla sex?”

“I mean, we did the other day,” he said. “But if you mean when I’ve bottomed…no. I’ve only had sex a couple times before you, and it was more about discovering stuff about myself than it was about…you know…sex.”

“Yeah,” I said. “I get that. Would you…can we try?”

I wanted him, but I didn’t want to be rough with him. I wanted to show him with my body what I couldn’t bring myself to say out loud.

“I’d do anything for you,” he whispered.

“Don’t make promises like that,” I warned him.

He grabbed my face in his hands and held my gaze for a long time. So long I started to get a little freaked out, to be honest.

“Trevor, I would do anything for you.”
