“I do not like Elijah.”

I turn my face toward him. “Because he revealed your dirty secret?”

“Stop it.”

He stands up.

“Why? It is the truth. It is what you did. What you will probably do tomorrow.”

Dorian steps one foot into the water, then the other, his body still erect.

“W-what are you doing?”

He seizes my arms and pulls me forward until he sits behind me. His chest presses against my back, his legs surrounding me.

“It is what I did,” he whispers in my ear.

I stiffen.

“But it is not what I will do tomorrow,” he continues, sliding his thumbs over my hips.

“And what will you do tomorrow?”

He moves a lock of hair from my nape and sinks his teeth into the flesh. “I will make sure the little swan I have captured does not fly away.”

I turn abruptly.

“Qui ose appeler cygne, sale animal!”

“You.”

The smile curving his lips makes me want to drown him beneath the tub. Between my legs, perhaps.

Damn it, I think I enjoyed his mouth on me far too much.

“And do not dare say that other word either.”

He presses his forehead against mine. “Little?”

“We are nearly the same height.”

“That is not so, and besides...” he caresses a corner of my mouth with his thumb, “you are nine years younger than I.”

“Does it matter?”

Instead of answering, he catches my chin between his teeth, I shove him away with force, turning my back once more.

“Don’t you like it? Being my... boy?”

“Try saying that again with a blade against your throat, and we’ll see.”

He winds his fingers through my hair, forcing me to tilt my head back to expose myself even more.

“Why does it sting so much?”

“It isn’t. It’s just... stupid. You sound stupid.”

His fingers begin to trace my throat while my head rests completely against his shoulder.
