I was still shaking when he flipped me.
My back hit the mattress, and he was over me, inside me, and this time there was nothing slow about it. He hooked my knee over his arm and drove into me, hard and deep, the headboard knocking against the wall.
“Mine,” he growled against my throat.
“Yours.”
“Say it again.”
“Yours, Jax. I’m yours.”
He roared, shoving deep one last time, and I felt him pulse inside me, hot and thick.
For a long moment neither of us moved. Then I remembered something I probably should have mentioned the night before.
“Jax?”
“Hmm?”
“I’m not on birth control.”
His head came up, and his eyes flared.
Not with panic.
With something else entirely.
Pushing up onto his elbow, he trailed a finger from my sternum, down between my breasts, all the way to the soft spot below my belly button. “Gonna put my boy in here,” he said roughly.
“You’re crazy.”
“Why?”
“We’re not even dating.” That was a pretty damn good reason if you asked me.
His eyes narrowed. “We ain’t fuckin’ dating. You’re my woman. I’m your man. That’s it. End of story.”
I felt my own eyes narrow. “That’s it? End of story?”
As if to piss me off even more, the jerk had the audacity to smile.
“You’re cute when you're mad, Sweets. Makes my dick hard.”
He flexed his hips to prove his point, because he was in fact hard again.
“You better use your hand then.” I shoved at his chest.
Who the hell did he think he was?
“Lose the sass, baby,” he said, taking my mouth in another hot kiss, before easing out of me and dropping onto his back.
“I don’t appreciate being told what to do.”
With a heavy sigh, he dragged me onto his chest where I could hear his heart still going a mile a minute as his hand smoothed up and down my spine. “What do you want, Sweets?”
“What?”
“What do you want?” He tipped my chin up so I had to look at him. “Whatever it is, I’ll break my back making sure you have it.”
