She lets out a strangled sigh behind me.
I move to pass her, but she reaches out and pats my shoulder.
“Please don’t hurt my pretty girl.”
I stop.
Slowly, I turn to look at her.
“I’d rather die.”
Mrs. Han studies my face for a moment, searching for even the slightest hint that I might be joking.
Apparently satisfied with what she finds, she gives my shoulder another pat.
“Good boy.”
Then she turns and starts walking away.
She makes it three steps before stopping abruptly.
“Oh.”
I narrow my eyes at her.
“What?”
“You should probably tell Artemis that the entire world has now seen her butt cheeks,” she smiles. “Good luck.”
Fuckkkk.
Once I’m inside the studio, I pull out my phone and call Junie.
She answers on the first ring.
“Finally! I have been calling you for—”
“Fire them.”
A beat passes.
“What?”
“Everyone.”
“Stephen—”
“Every employee who was here for the collaboration.”
“That’s over a hundred people.”
“I don’t give a fuck.”
“Stephen, think about—”
“They sold photographs and videos taken inside my home.”
The words come out quietly.
