“Mina, it’s not hygienic,” I muttered. I would never put that cold metal inside her.

“But I want it.” Her eyes glinted. “You can’t refuse me.”

“I can. The boy you knew is gone.”

A slow grin spread across her face. She lifted my metal hand toward her lips, but I pulled it back fast.

“Then who’s the man in front of me now? He still looks pathetic.”

I probably should’ve said, I’m not. Yet all I did was lean in and steal the breath from her mouth. Under the pressure of my lips, her head tilted back. I climbed over her again, stroking her shoulders, my tongue circling in her mouth one last time before I pulled away.

Through narrowed eyes, I studied her face. “I’ll show you.”

“Fuck, Raymond…” It was all she managed when I sank back into her. She was still trembling from her last climax, and her breath broke on a moan. When I bit her shoulder, I felt her nails dig into my forearm. Dig me more, more, more…

I knew the pathetic ghosts of my past were watching me with envy. The Raymond from four years ago couldn’t have dreamed of this.

Right… he couldn’t. He was too busy being driven to madness. Driven mad by the cruel words of the only person he cared about.

“You don’t call me Remi anymore.”

“What?” Her eyes were half-closed, too far gone to understand me, but I kept pushing.

“Have you already forgotten Remi? Do you love this man more?”

“I… I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Her eyes fluttered open a little, hazy and dreamy. “No matter what… no matter who you are, I belong to you.”

I slowed down, my hand crawling up her spine, fingers digging into the nape of her neck. She shivered under the touch, her breath hitching.

“Raymond…?”

“Hmm. Is that so?” I leaned over, my mouth at her ear. “Then say it clearly, Mina. Who belongs to me? Which mask am I talking about?”

Her eyes grew wide, her gaze misty. “All of them.” Her voice shook. “Every single one. All of me… belongs to you.”

A smile crept across my face, one corner twitching. I drew a shaky breath, drunk on the sweetness of her words.

I eased out of her, and she let out a small, protesting sound until I turned her onto her back.

“Raymond…”

“Shh.” I pressed a kiss to her collarbone, then lower, trailing down her stomach. By the time my cock settled between her thighs, her breath had gone ragged.

We were both destroyed. We were both detached from reality. In this tiny room, we could have stayed for hours, forgetting everything outside. It had always been like this: the two of us locked in, the world kept out.

This time, not because we had to. Because we wanted to. Because only these hours made us feel alive.

I grabbed her right hand and pulled it down. I pressed it to her lower belly, right below her navel.

“Feel me.”

She only took deep breaths. I pressed down firmly, forcing her palm into her own skin. With every hard push of my hips, I kept moving inside her.

“Feel me.” I kissed her neck.

“See me.” My voice scraped against her ear.

“Love me.” I licked the flush from her cheek.
