“Obviously the two of you can continue getting to know each other, over meals, or phone calls or what have you, but the only Daddy-practice-type exception I can make is this: If you happen to see or catch Jade being naughty, or if she is naughty to you, you can punish her without checking with me first. And of course, it goes without saying that this exception only applies if Jade consents to it beforehand.”

“Of course. Jade, what do you think about that?”

“I don’t… I don’t want to be naughty to you!” she gasped. “My bottom still hurts!”

Ryan chuckled. “Well, nobody said it had to be today. And it’s not like we are asking you to be naughty on purpose. We are just saying that if it happens, you can give your consent ahead of time for me to take care of it myself. So what do you say?”

“I can agree to that. I mean, I consent. But I do have a question. What do I call you? What are we? Are we anything?”

“I think… we’re dating and giving ourselves the opportunity to practice being more. Is that acceptable to you?”

Without a word, she rushed forward and crushed him in an exuberant hug. “Yes, Sir! I like the sound of that!”

“Oh good,” he whispered, hugging her back. His own eyes filled with tears as he thought about their future. The last twenty-four hours had been a whirlwind he hadn’t expected and he was very excited to see where it would lead.

They finally pushed apart, with Ryan grabbing hold of her hand and holding it while she stood beside him.

Baze looked between the two of them and smiled. “Well, I’m glad we got that settled. I’m going to get back to work. Jade, don’t forget your chores and your schoolwork,” he said over his shoulder as he walked out of the chapel, leaving them alone.

“You have schoolwork?” Ryan asked sharply. He hadn’t been expecting that.

“Yeah. An unpleasant side effect of being eleven.” She shrugged. “It’s online classes and I get to pick them so I’m learning some cool things.”

“Oh yeah? Like what?” It felt weird that he’d known her so intimately to spank her bare bottom and wash her mouth out with soap, yet there was so much he didn’t know about her yet. He wanted to hear it all.

“Right now, I’m taking a crochet class, a poetry class and an astrology class. They are all interesting and pretty easy.”

“That sounds fun. Do you do schoolwork every day?”

“I have to do at least two hours every day. Usually while my friends are napping. Today I have to do an extra hour because I only got one hour in yesterday.” She sighed. “I guess I should probably get on that. I don’t want to get in trouble again so soon.”

Jade

She didn’t want to get in trouble with Baze at all. Since Ryan had spanked her, he felt like her Daddy, even if it wasn’t official, and if she was gonna be in trouble, she only wanted it to be with Ryan. She was so messed up.

“You could bring your schoolwork down, and do it here, if you wanted,” Ryan offered, looking hopeful.

Her heart fluttered. She hadn’t wanted to leave, but she hadn’t felt right staying either. But since he was offering…

“Really? I won’t be in your way?”

“Well, I’ll be here just working on a devotional, and writing up some notes for my sermon on Sunday.” He grinned. “It doesn’t have to be too good because hardly anybody comes.”

Jade instantly felt guilty. She actually enjoyed church but she hated getting up early on Sundays and Baze didn’t force them, so she’d only been once.

“I’ll come, I promise.”

“Well, I would hope so since we are dating. It would look kind of bad if the pastor’s own Little… er… I mean girlfriend or whatever, wasn’t there,” he quipped.

He’d called her his Little! Sure he’d corrected himself immediately, but that meant he was thinking of her in that way. Grinning, she dropped his hand. “I’ll go get my laptop, and my stuff and I’ll be back in a jiffy!”

“I’ll be here.”

Jade raced back up to the penthouse, crammed her laptop, her crochet project and a notebook and pen into her backpack and raced back down without a word to her friends. She’d fill them in later.

When she returned to the chapel, she found Pastor Ryan was sitting at a desk in the small office at the back of the room, with a Bible and a notebook, dutifully taking notes.

There was a folding chair pulled out at the opposite side of the desk, so Jade sat down and got to work, but she couldn’t focus.
