"You make it look easy."
She smiled.
"It's not."
"No?"
"The ocean doesn't care how much experience you have."
She looked toward the endless Pacific.
"It humbles everyone."
Willow stepped onto the bridge carrying a tray.
"I brought reinforcements."
Fresh coffee.
Warm blueberry muffins.
Sliced fruit.
Ward looked at the tray.
"I think I've gained five pounds already."
Scott's voice floated up the stairs.
"Worth it!"
Willow laughed.
"It absolutely is."
Storm picked up a muffin.
"I'll never understand how you bake like this on a moving yacht."
Willow shrugged.
"I've had good teachers."
Storm smiled softly.
"Mom."
"And Grandma."
"And Grandpa."
"He couldn't bake."
"He made biscuits."
Storm laughed.
"They were terrible."
