"They heard enough."

My smile disappeared.

"How much?"

"They know someone said Dad didn't die the way we believed."

The words settled heavily between us.

Neither of us spoke.

Because neither of us knew what to say.

A few minutes later...

Willow joined us, carrying fresh coffee.

No one reached for it.

She looked around the bridge.

"You all forgot to drink it."

Scott accepted a mug.

"I refuse to let good coffee go to waste."

Willow smiled.

"That's why I brought extra."

Even Ben chuckled.

The sound lasted only a moment.

But somehow...

It reminded all of us that we were still a family.

Still together.

Ivy quietly stepped beside me.

"I've been looking at the pictures again."

"The trawler?"

She shook her head.

"The RHIB."

She handed me her camera.

I zoomed in on the last photograph she'd taken before it disappeared.
