I shrugged. “Not really, because I’m not out either. If anything, it’s for the best.”
“Well then, I’m happy for you.” Jess stretched his arms and placed them behind his head. “Although I wanted that threesome… oh well.”
We sat and talked for a while longer before it was time for me to go. As they walked me to their front door, I pretended it was my first time in their house. The last thing I needed was for them, or anyone else, to know about our little break-in.
“Oh, by the way, you weren’t at school today. Is everything okay?” Jess asked as we stepped onto the porch.
I was about to tell them some lie as to why I skipped school when a cab came to a stop in their driveway. The lights blinded me for a second before I noticed the back door opening. A hand gripped the frame right before the person it belonged to slipped out of the car and crashed to the ground, his body hitting the gravel hard.
“Oh, my god,” Levi gasped before he and Jess ran toward Andrei, who was still trying to get up.
“Andrei!” Levi helped the guy up while Jess reached for his other side.
“What the hell happened?” I heard Levi asking the driver, who shrugged.
“Beats me. I just picked him up from the hospital. He still needs to pay for the ride.”
What a jackass.
I quickly ran toward them and pulled my wallet out. I may have been short of cash but fuck it. I paid the son of a bitch and waited for him to drive off before I offered them help in carrying Andrei back inside the house.
“Thanks,” Levi mumbled as he let go of his friend’s injured body and allowed me to take his place.
Andrei was a bit shorter than me but had muscles, so taking his half-conscious body inside wasn’t that easy.
By the time Jess and I laid him on the couch, Levi was already on the phone with someone. “Yeah, I have no clue what happened. He has a broken arm and a beaten face,” he said.
While Levi continued to talk on the phone, Jess crouched on the floor beside the couch, his face pale and eyes full of worry. “Andrei,” he whispered. “Andrei, are you okay?”
Andrei grunted before he opened his eyes. “H-hey, Jess.” His words were weak and muffled from how swollen and busted his lips were. “I’m fine.” He winced in pain at his forced smile but did his best to hide it.
Despite the pain he was clearly in, Andrei moved his good arm and ruffled Jess’s hair. “I-I’m fine. Don’t worry.” His head quickly dropped on the pillow before he shut his eyes again. Even though he was clearly not fine, his effort to calm down Jess touched me. The way they all cared for each other as a family was admirable.
The injuries on his body made me think of when Mike and his thugs attacked me, and it brought back those nasty memories. I had no idea why someone would do this to Andrei, but I was positive that whoever did it was a monster.
Jordan
Chief almost broke down their front door as he came running in, not even noticing me before he rushed over to check on Andrei. The first thing Chief did was to ask Andrei what the hell had happened to him.
“I was robbed. It was dark, and I couldn’t see their faces,” he explained once Chief asked if he’d called the police.
That was utter bullshit. How did I know it was bullshit? Because I told the same lie when I was beaten to a pulp and wanted to keep it a secret from my mom.
Knowing Andrei was lying made me feel uneasy, not because I cared about him but because I cared for the person who I suspected had done it. Would he do that? Could Shay-Lee really do such a thing because of Miles?
It sounded unlikely, but I needed to reassure myself. To ensure the guy I was falling for wasn’t a monster capable of doing something like that. As soon as I left their house, I pulled my phone out and texted him.
Me: I need to see you.
Not even a minute after I shot my text, I saw it was read, and the three dots showing Shay-Lee was typing popped on the screen. But instead of a text, I got an image that almost made me choke on my tongue. The attached photo showed Shay-Lee’s hand gripping his hard cock. He was still dressed, and the selfie showed his erection nestled in the white fabric of his boxer briefs.
Shay-Lee: Me too.
My dick came to life, and I paused, trying to think of a way to reply, when I got another text.
Shay-Lee: We’re drinking at the twins’ place. Come and give me a hand?
I’d rather we met alone because I had to ask him about what happened to Andrei and also because I wanted to suck him off, but instead—
