“And I have a wedgie. It’s been bugging me all night. I wore the wrong underwear today.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” she shouts.

“I thought we were mentioning irrelevant things. No need to raise your voice.” I sigh. “Your pepper spray won’t help you here.”

Just as I thought she would, she breaks eye contact with me and looks down at her purse, frantically searching it for her pepper spray.

That's when I make my move. I don’t bother trying to get my arms around her to hold her still long enough to slice her neck, I already know she would be the one to put up a fight.

I charge at her, shoving her into the wall behind her. Her head slams against it with a loud crack, and I’m pretty sure I broke her skull.

Either way, it knocks her out instantly.

She falls to the ground in a heap.

Not wanting to waste time and have someone try to get in here, I quickly find her ID, take down her name, and slice her neck just to make sure she’s dead.

“Laura Miller,” I murmur down at her corpse. “Sorry, I couldn’t leave you with your friends.”

Turning around, I unlock the door and get the hell out of there.

Once I’m far enough away, I check the camera feed to see what I’ve missed in the meantime, starting from when they left the three girls I just took care of.

Thankfully, it’s mostly just the three of them walking down the street. They stop to get drinks, but then they keep going.

No other girls. That makes my job easier.

“I feel like this is a sign from the gods. Like they’re telling me I’m doing good, that tonight is the night. Everything is falling into place, and I couldn’t be more happy about it.” I sigh contentedly.

I click on the button to switch over to the live feed, and that good feeling disappears.

They’re walking down the street, but they’re not alone. Sylas has a girl under his arm, and they’re looking a little too close for comfort.

Spotting the sign of a bar, I quickly type it in my GPS and start heading in that direction.

When I reach them, my stomach drops.

Sylas has the girl pressed against the wall, his tongue down her throat, and his hand up her fucking skirt.

My chest heaves with anger, my blood fucking boiling.

She grinds against him like a bitch in heat.

Those are my lips! My fucking hands.

I step to the side, hiding behind a group of people, continuing to watch.

Every second that goes by, my vision fills with more and more red until I feel like I might explode.

Eventually, they stop kissing, and Sylas whispers something in her ear. She bites her lip and nods. Sylas winks at her and walks away, leaving her panting heavily against the wall from the finger fucking he just gave her.

Note to self: bleach his fucking fingers.

He walks down the street, meeting up with Jasper and Wesley, who were hanging around close by.

The three of them take off, and I make my move.

The girl turns, heading towards me, her hair messy and a stupid smile glued to her face. She sways on her feet, and I shake my head.
