The air between them thickened. His body heat pressed into her, his scent filling the small space between their mouths.

Alexander’s palms slid over her, one gripping her thigh, the other rising. He caught the loosened end of his tie, pulled it up, and in one smooth motion, looped it around her wrists.

Then his mouth crashed onto hers.

Mia gasped, her lips parting in surprise, but he didn’t stop—his kiss was fierce, hungry, almost punishing. He devoured her breath, stealing every sound she tried to make. Her fingers curled helplessly into his shirt, her mind spiraling as his lips moved over hers again and again until she could no longer think, only feel.

When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against hers for a heartbeat. His breath was rough, uneven. Hers came in shallow, trembling gasps, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Her lips were swollen. Her eyes—dazed.

Alexander lifted his head, his gaze locking on her. Jealousy simmered there. His thumb brushed the side of her cheek, but the tension in his jaw never eased.

“Why do you always try to upset me?” he asked, his voice low, threaded with heat and frustration. His hand slid to her jaw, keeping her face lifted toward him as he stared down at her.

Mia blinked, her eyes widening in surprise. “That’s not—”

He cut her off, leaning in, his breath brushing her lips.

“Am I not good enough to be your husband?”

She flinched.

His hand slid under the hem of her dress in one sudden movement.

“Mr. Graves…”

His fingers climbed slowly, brushing along her bare thigh, gliding higher over the thin line of her panties, then up to her waist. Her skin shivered violently under his touch, her grip on his shoulders tightening as she trembled.

“It’s… tickling, Mr. Graves,” she whispered, trying to push his hand away from her waist.

But instead of stopping, he leaned forward, pressing her back deeper against the wall, making her body arch toward him.

The next second, his face dipped into her neckline.

Mia gasped.

He kissed, tasted, licked along the curve of her throat, dragging his tongue up to her ear before tracing every inch of her skin. Her neck turned warm and flushed under his mouth, her breath shortening with every stroke.

His hand moved again—sliding out from under her dress, up the outside, until he reached the top. His fingers found the knot securing her neckline.

Without hesitation, he tugged.

The knot loosened in a soft pull. Her dress slackened instantly, slipping off her shoulder, then her chest—falling open as she gasped.

“Mr. Graves—” she whispered, grabbing his arm. “Let’s do it at night”

He lifted his face from her neck, jealousy still burning hot in his eyes. One hand cupped the back of her head to keep her steady as he stared into her.

“Mia,” he said slowly, voice deep and thick with heat, “girls who are getting punished don’t get to decide when or how they’re punished.”

His jealousy was uncontrollable now, alive in every breath he took. The more he thought of Harold near her, the more it twisted in his chest.

“Mr. Graves,” Mia whispered, trying to push against him. “We shouldn’t be in your bedroom right now. Harold and your mom are—”

His patience snapped.

His hand gripped her dress and he pulled—hard.

The fabric slid off her completely, pooling at her feet. The sudden cold hit her body, making her gasp and stare at him in shock.
