Checking Every Box

Lists can keep your life in order. They can also point out when a man is absolutely, perfectly right for you.

Heather:
I get a little overwhelmed and twitchy sometimes, but my lists hold me together. I’m going to prove to my boss, who is also my brother, that I can handle more responsibility. Steve was completely unexpected. He checks off every box on my list of what I’m looking for in a man. Even the one thing that I was too nervous to write down.
Steve:
My mission was to find the perfect home, not the perfect girl. So it was a busy Friday indeed. I know that she’s nervous, and I’m too forward. I’ll wait as long as she likes, every step of the way. I just need her to know that she’s already a checkmark. A done deal. The one.
