Omega bear, Brad Boston, is a single father of twin six-month-old bear cubs. He’s sequestered himself away in his rural estate and doesn’t have the time, patience, or trust for anyone’s nonsense. Seeped in his own trauma, but thriving in fatherhood, he’s built a happy and safe little bubble for himself and his babies. Their safety and happiness are all that matter to him – all he’ll allow himself to care about after his parent’s betrayal and his chosen mate’s death.
Everything changes when alpha bear, Durin, shows up on the front porch with a delivery from the Temple of Frost. Brad doesn’t care if fate says they should be together. Fate can mind its own dang business and let him get on with taking care of his babies. Only Durin won’t go away. He’s just there – no matter what Brad says or does. He’s right there inside his house! Sleeping outside his bedroom door and carrying around his own haunted past.
Will Brad and Durin overcome their painful pasts? Will Durin be able to earn Brad’s trust or has fate really screwed everyone over with this one?
