“Dinnae get used tae this… tenderness! It’s nae what I was made fer.”
Agnes Kerr knows her duty—marry for alliance and save her clan. But when an ambush leaves her stranded in the wilds with her father’s fiercest warrior, duty starts to blur. Her guard is brooding, scarred, infuriatingly handsome, and he sees her as a task.
But Agnes…She sees him as the only man who’s ever made her want something for herself.
Tav MacLeod left a bloody past, to serve with honor at Laird Kerr’s side. Escorting Agnes to her fiancé should’ve been simple —until an ambush forces them into the wilds. With every mile, his loyalty falters and his desire only grows.
With danger closing in and her betrothed waiting, desire becomes a risk neither of them can afford. Agnes was never his to want. But now that he’s tasted what could be, walking away might be the one battle Tav can’t survive.
She’s his to guard—NOT to touch.
*If you like brawny Highland warriors with a soft heart, and romantic stories depicting the majestic and mysterious Scottish Highlands, then this is DEFINITELY for you.
