Then again, perhaps Sadie is just shy, and I can give her the time she needs to trust me.
But maybe I’m a fool for trusting her.
The more time I spend with Sadie, the more she feels like the soulmate I’ve been wishing to find. Secrets hum louder than Sadie’s crystal singing bowls, however, and it’s possible I’ve fallen for a woman who can never be mine.
