Stone is well known for bed-hopping. No one expects more of him. That’s a good thing, since he currently has a huge issue he needs to solve. Now is definitely not the time for his latest conquest to be his true mate. Especially since that mate is a needy fairy, and Stone is currently possessed by a dark entity he can’t see to fight.
Copulation is very close to food for fairies. While they can’t survive on that alone, they also don’t thrive without it. Everyone knows they shouldn’t take going to bed with a fairy seriously. Fairies certainly don’t. That’s why it took Lysander so long to figure out why he couldn’t stay away from Stone. Of all the times to find his mate, this was the most unfortunate.
