The moment Clay was old enough to help guard the Bosi home, he was trained as a soldier. He’s seen criminals come and go. He’s never met anyone like Scout.
As Killers Inc.’s scout, Scout has two areas of expertise. He’s the eagle eyes of the group, and he can shoot faster and more accurately than more than ninety-five percent of the population. That’s it. That’s all Scout has. Since meeting Clay, he’s smiled even more than usual. The best part is the happiness isn’t faked. Scout didn’t notice what was happening to him until he saw Clay stare at someone else with lust in his eyes. Those longing looks were supposed to be his. He’s never felt further out of his comfort zone.
For nearly his entire life, Clay has been surrounded by crime. He doesn’t care what anyone does. All Clay knows is he wants to be with someone sane and kind. Unfortunately, his position with the Bosi family has made it hard to meet anyone nice. Since the Killers Inc. group joined the compound, teasing him with a life he never thought he would have, Clay isn’t sure what he’s looking for any longer. But he’s positive something is happening to him, and he has never been more confused.
