Henry carved a comfortable life for himself through literal blood and sweat. It’s not in him to be soft. For the first time, that might be the only thing that saves him.
As the right hand of a crime boss, Henry has lived a violent life. He’s as hardened on the inside as he is on the outside. But lately, everything is changing. The man he secretly loved married someone else. This cocky new guy who’s barely an adult is driving him up the wall. He just wants back the normalcy. So why can’t he stop watching everything Field does?
Field is a mess. He was raised to be a killer, and that’s all he knows. As much as he wants to be different, life won’t let him and he’s not sure he has a choice anyhow. There’s no real comfort for him. He’s just trying to hang on until he can’t any longer. Henry is in the way of all of that. Field isn’t sure he wants it to stop. Unfortunately, his crazed episodes and even more insane family might just be too much for Henry to stick through.
