I certainly didn’t mind.

CLARISSA WAS THE SEXIEST WOMAN I’d ever laid eyes on. When she opened up, allowing herself to experience the pleasure of the moment, she was breathtaking.

Even now, as I walked into the Chatter PR Global offices, I couldn’t stop thinking about how beautiful she’d been last night fucking Troy right before my very eyes.

From the moment my eyes opened this morning, my brain had been running a million miles a minute. My first instinct was still to launch out of bed and get my day started, but I was learning. My submissives were keeping me in line, reminding me time and again that I needed to slow down, to enjoy. So, rather than jump out of bed, I’d curled around Clarissa, running my hands over her until she woke. At that point, I’d pulled my sleepy submissive beneath me and sunk deep inside her warm, wet pussy. I found I enjoyed those times. When we weren’t playing, simply being.

Now that I was in the office, my brain was back on track, ready to knock out as many things on my to-do list as possible. I had spent several hours on the phone already, bouncing back and forth between my lawyer and McKenna as I attempted to take care of the media frenzy. Then I’d had lunch with Landon and Langston to discuss how we wanted to proceed with the new venture. Since it was only two o’clock, there were still plenty of working hours left in the day.

I tried to tell myself this was more important than locking myself away with my submissives. In a way, it was. This was my livelihood. It paid the bills and allowed me to continue the lifestyle I’d become accustomed to. Namely my clubs. But I was having a hard time focusing and I think the woman I was meeting with realized it.

“Is it safe to assume you’re preoccupied?” a sweet voice sounded from behind me.

I turned to see Jane Fellows walking toward me. Known to many as Mistress Jane, the woman had an air of authority about her that often seemed impenetrable. I’d gotten to know Jane in the past year, becoming close with the intimidating Mistress.

“Good afternoon,” I greeted kindly, kissing her cheek when she was close enough. “Thanks for agreeing to meet with me.”

I motioned toward one of the chairs at the conference table. I was once again utilizing the Chatter PR Global offices to take care of a few things. In an hour, I was set to meet with Langston, who would be showing me one of the vacant floors in the building, which I was looking to buy for the talent agency’s home base.

“I’ve heard quite a few rumors about you today,” Jane said with a playful grin. “It seems you’ve captured quite the audience with your recent endeavors.”

My eyes shot over to Clarissa and Troy, who were sitting on the far side of the room, laptop and iPad in hand. They’d been with me all day, their newly acquired bodyguards now stationed outside the doors.

Jane’s eyes followed mine before returning. “I have to admit, I never saw this coming.”

“What’s that?” I asked, feigning ignorance.

“You. Falling in love.”

I wasn’t going to dispute it even if I hadn’t yet said the words aloud. I cared greatly for Clarissa and Troy, wanted to spend every waking moment with them even, but I was having a damn hard time voicing it.

To be fair, I was greatly skeptical about the notion, despite the fact that most of my friends had already settled down and started their families. Being in the world of Hollywood stars, I saw far too many relationships crumble and I wasn’t sure it was something I was cut out for.

Didn’t mean I didn’t have every intention of spending the rest of my life with them.

“Thank you, dear,” Jane said when Luci brought her a bottle of water. When Luci slipped out of the room, Jane’s attention turned back to me. “By tomorrow morning, I suspect you’ll be on the cover of every nationally published magazine.”

“Won’t be the first time. Doubtfully the last, either.”

“No publicity is bad publicity, right?” Her slick red lips pulled into a smile.

The woman was one of those who drew attention wherever she went. At roughly five feet tall, she could’ve been the type who faded into the crowd. Not Jane. She was always front and center, her dominating personality speaking far louder than her words. At the club, she had a penchant for large men. It was interesting to watch as she brought those men to their knees.

“How are your pets handling the press?” Jane asked.

“It’s not easy, but we’re taking it one day at a time.”

She took a sip of water. “I know from experience they can be rather harsh.”

“Experience?” Now we were finally getting to the topic at hand.
