Master Parker canted his head to the side, his eyes narrowing. His voice was deeper than before when he said, “I won’t deny that’s a possibility. As our submissive, you would do as we requested without question. However, that’s not all we want from you. We’re looking for something permanent and we’re not part-time Doms only looking for oral pleasure. It’s about trust and obedience as much as it is sex, Addison.” He held up a hand. “Which, I assume, is what you’re seeking in a Dom. It’s also something you’ve never had. Trust comes with time.”

I nodded, although I was still confused. “Could we add it to the contract?”

“Add what?”

“Me not having to give blow jobs at every turn.”

“Is that what you want? A Dom who will follow your rules? Because if that’s the case, you’re in the wrong place.”

Okay, I’d pissed him off. I hadn’t meant to, but surely, he understood where I was coming from.

“I’m sorry, Master Parker. And no, I’m not looking for a Dom I can control. It defeats the purpose. However, I’m hesitant.” I glanced down at my knees. “I don’t want to be used.”

“Let me make myself clear on one thing,” Master Parker stated firmly.

I raised an eyebrow and met his eyes, waiting.

“We wouldn’t hire you to be our submissive. That’s not a position we would pay you for. Unlike your previous encounters, Ben and I wouldn’t treat you like a whore. Availability isn’t what we’re seeking.”

The only reason I believed him was because I knew they could have any submissive they wanted at the club. If it was only about playtime, then they would seek it there.

This was so awkward. At the same time, I appreciated their candor. They weren’t hiding the fact that they wanted something more. As for me…I wanted them. There was no denying that. Crazy or not, I found a semblance of peace when I was with them, despite the fact my hormones were in an uproar every time they spoke.

“There’s only one caveat,” Mr. Snowden said, his eyes trained on me.

“What’s that?”

“You have until the interview to make your decision.”

“Why?”

Mr. Snowden’s dark brow lifted. “Because your choice should not be dependent on whether or not you’re offered the job. Either you want to be our submissive or you don’t.”

Damn it. It wasn’t that easy. I wanted what they were offering, but I had to question my own sanity at this point. I’d been through a lot since last night. Could I even trust my emotions and make a rational decision? I’d known them what? Twelve hours? No, not even that. And I’d slept for a good portion of that time.

“How long do I have to decide?”

“Your interview is scheduled for two o’clock,” Mr. Snowden stated.

Crap. That wasn’t a lot of time.

Master Parker leaned back. “Can you tell me something, Addison?”

“Sure.”

“Is it just me or is there chemistry between the three of us?”

Admittedly, that was something I admired about Master Parker. He did not beat around the bush.

At the same time, I didn’t know how to answer that question. Well, I did, but I didn’t know if that was something I should be admitting at this point in time.

A solid minute passed while I considered my response.

“Never mind,” he snarled, his hands landing on his knees as he started to push to his feet. “You can go with the first option and we’ll take the second off the table.”

“No, wait.” I sat up straight, terrified he was going to take this opportunity away from me. “Please. It’s not just you.” I glanced between the two of them. “There is some…chemistry here. At least on my part there is.”

Master Parker relaxed a little, easing back on the sofa once more.

Silence wrapped around the three of us, thick and heavy. Thanks to the oppressing hush, I could practically hear the electric spark of sexual energy darting between us. Yeah. There was certainly something there.

Master Parker took a deep breath, let it out, but Mr. Snowden was the one who spoke.

“Addison, regardless of your decision, the opportunity for employment is still available to you. Do not think for a single minute that you have to do anything you don’t want to do. There’s a good chance you’ll be offered the position based on what little we know about you. Should that be what you’re most comfortable with, then we urge you to take it. However, down the line, should the three of us decide not to seek a D/s contract, that doesn’t mean we won’t reassign you to another position. Like Mr. Parker said, we’re looking for something unconventional, which, as you can imagine, could cause issues in the office. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. We have plenty of employees who work for us who we don’t interact with in that regard. You can still have a job and not be…ours.”
