I frowned. I did not like the sound of that.

He brushed his knuckles along my cheek. “You have to trust us, pet. We will not put you in harm’s way. You also have to remember that we’re incredibly possessive, so the opportunity may not arise.”

That piqued my curiosity, but Sir didn’t elaborate.

“Now let’s get downstairs so we can meet the guests when they arrive.”

My eyes shot down to my feet. “Should I wear shoes?”

Sir looked at my feet. Coincidentally, my toenails were painted a festive red, which matched the dress.

“No. Barefoot is a good look for you.”

After he brushed my mouth with his lips, we headed downstairs. In the time it had taken me to get ready, they had decorated the majority of the house, including fixing the sad excuse I’d made of the tree. I couldn’t hide the wonder on my face. It was the most beautiful Christmas setting I’d ever seen.

There was the huge tree decked out with white lights and a variety of silver and blue ornaments. The decorative blue and silver skirt flowed out from the wide base, the ripples causing the light to bounce off the velvet. Candles—I noticed they were flameless—had been strewn about to create a romantic ambience. I figured by the time night fell, the room would be a fantasy come true, but at the moment, most of the lighting was lost in the sunlight streaming in through the windows.

“What do you think?” Sir asked as he took my hand and led me down the stairs to the main floor.

“It’s stunning,” I told him, still taking it all in. “Like a fairy tale.”

“I’m glad you like it.”

Master met us at the bottom of the stairs. I paused on the last step and he slid his hands up the backs of my thighs, inching higher until he was cupping my ass.

“The dress suits you,” he whispered in my ear. “Very…festive.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek chastely. “Thank you for the dress, Master.”

“Well, enjoy it while I allow you to wear it,” he said with a smirk.

“I definitely will.”

“The boat’s here!” King announced as he stepped into the house. “We’ll be heading out shortly.”

Melanie made her way over, hugging Master and then Sir before taking my hands and staring back at me.

“You look beautiful, honey. I hope you enjoy the day.” She glanced over at her sons. “You be sure to keep them in line.”

Sir snorted and I giggled. I didn’t think anyone could keep them in line.

“I’ll certainly give it my best shot,” I told her, then returned her hug.

“Come on, pet,” Sir said, taking my hand and linking our fingers. “Let’s greet the guests and move them around to the back deck. Langston can handle things in here.”

With my hand held securely in his, I found I would’ve followed Sir anywhere.

WITH A SMILE ON MY face, I followed Sir outside and down to the path that led to the dock. The sun was shining, the sky a vibrant blue, and although I was already happy, I felt my spirits lift even more simply because of how beautiful it all was. This truly was paradise.

From our spot in front of the house, I could see that people were already disembarking, making their way down the pier and onto the sandy shore. I couldn’t make out the faces due to the distance, but I was eager to find out who my masters had invited.

The first person I recognized was TJ Arlington. Well, him and the harem of women who were following. I noticed three extremely attractive ladies wearing matching spaghetti-strap sundresses of green, red, and gold, who were remaining close to him, while several others were trailing behind.

Sir greeted TJ first, using his first name and offering his hand to shake while I stood there, confused about what to do. The last and only time I’d been introduced to the man, I had been…an ornament. That day I hadn’t even had a name. I wasn’t sure how to act. Was I supposed to look at the ground? Keep my mouth shut?

“These are my girls,” TJ said with a flourish of his hand. “Catarina, Isabella, and Maria. Ladies, this is one of our hosts, Master Moore.”

The three women offered polite smiles and tilted their heads down.

I couldn’t help but stare. They were all strikingly beautiful and very, very different in physical appearance. While Catarina—the tallest and thinnest—had bright red hair, emerald-green eyes, and legs that went on for miles, Isabella was shorter than me with big, brown doe eyes and long, silky blond hair. Similar to me in stature, she had small breasts and narrow hips. Then there was Maria, quite possibly the most beautiful of them all. Her curvy figure—big breasts and wide hips—was what caught my attention first, but her long black hair and bright blue eyes were what highlighted her round face. Needless to say, they were going to attract a lot of attention.
