They both lifted one hand, each holding something out toward me.

“Luciana Wagner,” they said in unison, “will you do us the most incredible honor of being our wife?”

I nodded, choking back the happy tears that threatened. “Yes,” I whispered. “Absolutely, yes.”

And there I was, restrained and naked, staring at the most incredible men on the entire planet.

My Master.

My Sir.

My future husbands.

Fifty-Three

“I THINK I WAS MOST surprised to see Mel and King there,” I told Ben, giggling as the memory swamped me.

It had only been two days since Master and Sir surprised me with a very unconventional proposal at the club. I hadn’t been expecting it, but I wouldn’t trade that single moment for any. And to find out they’d been planning it, which was the very reason Kristen, Jordan, and Master and Sir’s parents had attended, had been the icing on the cake. I’d learned that they had even ensured that Master Ramsey would be in attendance.

“I wish we could’ve been there,” Ben told me, smiling down at me. “And trust me, it wasn’t easy when Landon requested our presence. Unfortunately, we had to stay there, so we had to turn him down.”

“I completely understand.” Although I wish they could’ve been there, too.

Ben had just arrived in the office a few minutes before. I was so happy to see that they were back. It could’ve been under better circumstances, sure. I had learned the sad news of Justin’s father’s passing last night. Master and Sir had felt the need to warn me, prior to coming into the office this morning. I was glad that they had. I didn’t know Justin’s father, but I had still cried for Justin.

The funeral would be held on Thursday, and we would all be attending. Until then, Justin had felt it necessary to come home so he could spend a little time focusing on work. I figured it was more of a distraction than anything. I couldn’t imagine the pain he was suffering.

“But I do have one question…” Ben cocked his head to the side. “Which one of them will you marry?”

Grinning, I shrugged. “We haven’t decided that yet. Since that’s merely a legality, I don’t know that it matters.”

“Well, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.” He laughed. “Or, more accurately, Langston will tell you how it is.”

Yep, Master was nothing if not up front about how he wanted things. Then again, so was Sir. The fact was, I didn’t know and I honestly didn’t care. They wanted it for legal reasons, to ensure that I was taken care of in the event something happened. I, personally, just wanted to be with both of them and having to choose which of them to marry was more than I cared to deal with.

Footsteps sounded and I looked up to see Justin walking toward us. He looked a little worse for wear, but still just as handsome as always. When he came over to my desk, I instantly got to my feet. I wanted to hug him, to offer my condolences, but I paused, not wanting to be overly emotional if he needed space.

He seemed to know what I was silently asking for, because he offered a small smile, followed by, “Come here, princess.”

I rushed over to him, throwing my arms around him and hugging him tightly. “I’m so sorry about your dad.”

“Thank you.” He ran his hand down my hair, his arms holding me to him. “He’s in a much better place now.”

I had learned from Master and Sir that Justin’s father had suffered from dementia and it had progressed at a rapid pace in the past year or so. To the point the man had no idea who his family was most of the time, yet Justin and his brother had made a point to take care of him until the very end. My heart broke for him.

Justin pulled back at the same time Master and Sir came out of their offices.

“I hear congratulations are in order,” Justin said, reaching for my hand and lifting it up to inspect the rings. His eyes then darted to the collar and he smiled.

“Looks like a lot of changes are taking place around here,” Ben noted. “Good changes.”

I smiled. It was true. I’d never been happier.

Justin looked at me. “Have you set a date yet?”

“We have not. Not officially anyway.”

“We’re hoping for June, maybe July,” Sir noted. “Our mother’s insistent on making this a grand affair.”

I giggled, remembering Mel’s excitement. She had approached me after the proposal, once Master and Sir had finished the scene. They’d laughed at me when they realized I thought the proposal was all they’d intended to do to me. Needless to say, I got intimately acquainted with that magic wand and Master’s flogger. In fact, it had taken some time for me to come down from my subspace high, but then everyone was there to congratulate us all.
