“Oh, shit!” Blake yells out. “Damn, bro, you don’t do anything small, do you?”
He still has a blank look so I cuddle up close to Eli and whisper, “Two babies, Eli. We need two jerseys for our twins to wear.”
He snaps his head back, eyes wide, but won’t let go of me. I laugh again, my happiness just bubbling over as fear dances all over his face. “Twins? Two? Two babies?” He shakes his head. “No fucking way.” I nod as he screams out, “Twins! We’re having twins!”
The locker room erupts and the reporter cameras are flashing. “Back it up! Back the fuck up!” He brings me close to him. “Interviews and pictures later. You got your story for tonight. Now leave me with my family.”
The reporters actually listen tonight and move on to his other teammates. Eli cuddles me close to him, while our friends all surround us and love on us.
And it’s looking like Eli doesn’t hate it at all.
Whispering for only me to hear, “I never knew it could be like this, Honey. You crashed my world and made it sweet. Pun intended.” I giggle as he leans down and kisses the tip of my nose. “Now, let's go home and let me give you your fill of honey.”
