Their bottles all clinked and Eli leaned back against her alpha, poking her toes into the thigh of another, and twining her fingers through the hand of the last.
“I love you guys,” Eli said. “This,” she said, waving her bottle around to encompass the treehouse, “is gonna be fucking awesome.”
They chuckled, but Eli meant it with every fiber of her being.
She didn’t only mean the cute little treehouse—she meant their yard, their new house, just down the street from her parents. She meant the bakery, thriving with online orders and therefore able to hire more bakers to keep up with the demand, since her and Jack’s commute had lengthened.
And she meant them. This pack that she didn’t even know she wanted, but loved and cherished now that all the pieces had fallen together.
Like a well-loved recipe.
And this was her best creation yet.
