I knew I had a nice figure, but when you were barely five feet tall, everyone seemed like a thin, elegant green bean, and I felt like a short yellow bean. Why I thought about myself as a bean was beyond me.

“What rules?”

Vicky held up her French manicured fingernail. “First, never touch my things. I don’t like them moved. Second, don’t ever eat fish or seafood in this room, it’s disgusting, and I can’t stand the smell. Third, I need the private shower from six until seven-thirty, so if you like to shower in the morning, you’ll have to use the communal one down the hall.” Vicky was still only holding up one finger, and I suddenly had serious doubts she could actually count. “Fourth, outside of this room, don’t speak to me. I’ve worked hard to earn my reputation, and I’ll be honest, you don’t fit in.” That was shocking to hear. Not. “Last, don’t fuck with or mess with my boyfriend. If you do, then you’ll regret it. If you obey those rules, we will get along fine.”

Vicky smiled, then stood and grabbed her phone off the desk. “I’ll be getting ready and heading out shortly. If I don’t get in until late, don’t worry.” She opened the door to a closet and walked inside, then poked her head back out. “You’re not a narc, are you?”

“About you being out?” She nodded. All I could think was the more time that she was away, the better, but I shook my head instead. “Good.”

Pulling my suitcase over to the dresser, I peeled off my coat and laid it down before going to the window and looking outside. The leaves on the trees were a vibrant shade of red and orange with a sprinkling of yellow. I always loved this time of year and decided that the first chance I got, I wanted to paint it. The room looked out to a forest, and with the help of the low setting sun I could just make out a body of water stretched out beyond the other side of the trees. It was stunning.

I didn’t want to like anything about this place, but I liked Ivy, and the view was incredible. If the art program was half decent, I could find a reason not to want to poke my eyes out every morning.

Glancing at the darkening sky, I wondered if my mum knew we’d left her behind. Was she angry? Was she hurt that we left so soon? I nibbled on my bottom lip, trying not to think about my mum, sad and alone.

“See ya…um…what is your name?”

Turning around, I couldn’t believe Vicky had gone from going to work out to partying on the town in just a few minutes. She was beautiful. There was no other way to describe her.

“My name is Ren.”

“Like as in Ren and Stimpy? That’s a stupid name. Only an asshole would to that to their kid.” My fist clenched. Mum loved the name and made me feel special. It was a happy memory for me, and in a single sentence, this bitch was trying to ruin that. “Whatever, see ya.”

Just like that, she was gone as she slipped out the door without waiting for a response. I slumped onto the bed and let out a long breath. The room instantly felt lighter without her in here, and that didn’t bode well for the next two years if we were stuck together that long.

I wanted Lizzy. I wanted to go home. But most of all, I wanted to bring my mum back from the dead. I couldn’t do any of those things. Everything I wanted was out of reach or impossible, and with no one around to watch, I rolled onto my side and cried.

NOVEMBER 3 - WEDNESDAY 8:59 PM

Myles

“Oh fuck yes!” Pam wailed, yet I could hardly hear her over the loud music of the party happening downstairs. “Myles, fuck. Don’t stop,” she said as I continued to fuck her hard enough that the pool table was slowly inching across the game room floor. Da would be proud to know that his table was being used for something.

Balling the school kilt in my fist, I smacked her ass hard and thrust into her harder so she had nowhere to jump.

“Ah, don’t hit me,” she whined as her nails scraped along the green felt I had her bent over. When Pam glared at me over her shoulder, I smirked and hit her again just because. “Ah! You asshole.”

I tilted my head back and chugged the rest of the beer down while keeping pace. That should be the new roadside sobriety test. Some hot cop bent over her car…I would be down for that.

“Oh fuck, Myles, I’m gonna come,” Pam cried out.

“Ya better fuckin not.” Pulling out of her pussy, she whimpered and wiggled her ass back and forth. “I’m nowhere near done yet.”

“I can go twice, please,” she begged, biting her lip.

As I slid back into her, the door banged open, and the thumping music blared louder as Nash stood in the doorway with a girl under each arm.

“Hey man,” Nash said, the girls squealing and laughing. “I need a place to hide from Theo to fuck these two.”

I shrugged and looked around the massive room with multiple couches. “Come on in, but I’d lock the door.”

“Myles,” Pam whined, glaring at me over her shoulder. “I don’t want to have sex in front of them.”

“Then don’t. Nash has two. I’m sure he’d share.” She whipped around so fast it hurt my cock. The crack of her hand was loud as she slapped me across the face. The impact lacked strength, but that wasn’t the point. No one but my Ma had ever been allowed to smack my cheek.

“You’re a fucking dick. We’re done,” she said, pulling her skirt down and buttoning her blouse.

“We were never datin’ love,” I said, gripping her waist to hoist her up onto my shoulder.
