“This counts as the first date.” Gio winks at me. “Thank you so much for walking me home.”

“You should stay and watch a movie.” I motion to the large T.V. “Dinneranda movie is a normal date.”

“As long as our clothes stay on.”

“That’s much less fun.”

“Don’t worry, Juliana.” Gio kisses me again. “The waiting will make it so much hotter once I throw you down and fuck you so hard that I’ll be the only man you think about all night.”

I tremble. “That could be tonight.”

Gio kisses me slowly, dragging out each moment until I want to tie him down and have him just like I want. He draws back and kisses me one more time. “Stay in your room tonight.”

“Kill joy.”

“Just tonight.” He winks.

How did I manage to get all three men, just like I wanted withoutactuallygetting what I wanted?

When it’s finally my turn to watch over the lovely Juliana two days later, I find her pacing while on the phone. She shakes her head. “Joke or not, you’ve been reported for this kind of behavior three times.”

There’s a long pause. “Yeah, that’s not a joke to me. And I’ve given you multiple warnings on sexual harassment. Take your last check and leave. And now, you don’t get to ask my father for a second opinion. H.R. is mine and that means you’re out. Bye.”

Juliana hangs up and pushes a lock of hair back behind her ear. She’s dressed like she belongs at work. Slacks that don’t hide her lovely legs very well and a pink silk button up blouse. She rubs out her neck, but that won’t do.

“Fuckers.”

“So harsh,” I croon.

“They deserve it. Constantly saying that I’m being too “P.C.” because I actually listen when people report harassment. The blatant homophobia, the harassment, the bullshit. Just because they’re managers doesn’t mean they don’t have consequences.”

I slide my hands over her shoulders and Juliana moans a little. “That feels good.”

“Isn’t that my job? To make you feel good.”

“Yourjobis to protect me. I let you make me feel good, Max,” She tells me.

“I relish the opportunity,” I purr in her ear as I continue massaging her neck and shoulders. “You’re too stressed.”

“I’m sure you have at least one way to fix that.”

“I wouldn’t bring it up if I didn’t.” I chuckle before kissing just below her ear. She shivers, so I do it again and again.

“Are you taking your time today?” She asks. “You hardly waited a second to pin me to the wall in the restaurant.”

“You haven’t begged nearly enough for my liking.”

“Why would I beg when you’re so eager to have me?”

Juliana turns and leans back against her desk. I take a step back, just to tease her. She frees her hair from the clip. “I’m going to get changed.”

“Done with work?”

“Five o’clock on the dot.”
