The Wolf's Den

"I'm sorry, I just can't stand this anymore," he said and the line went dead. The stupid little runt! The audacity! The nerve!

I couldn't sleep anymore. I looked around my bedroom. His clothes were gone, mine were still on the floor. I called him again and this time it didn't ring at all. He actually blocked me? Me? The Aria Wolfe?!

I laid down and let out a deep breath, "Maybe it was too much to suggest anal." I remembered the previous night. His gasps and groans of pleasure as I enjoyed his neck.

'In other news, police are still investigating the murder of 3 at…,' Channel 6 news anchor reported.

I picked up my camera and left.

I arrived at the office a little irritated but early.

"Good morning, Wolfe," Alyson greeted as soon as I stepped in.

"Good morning Alyson," I replied. Being irritated didn't mean I was going to be

mean, "Is Michael here yet?"

"Yes, he stepped out for morning coffee and sun," she replied as she handed me a

single paper document, "James isn't here yet though, didn't he go home with you?" She meant no harm though, but reminding me about the runt made my privates
