Someone mark this day down right now! I got engaged AND Noah is active in our chat. I’m going to cry
Adil
Is anyone marking this down
Adil
Hello?
Gallagher
Don’t you have a pen and paper at home?
Gallagher
What’s wrong with you
Adil
Don’t be rude. Jealousy is not a good look
Gallagher
Why tf would I be jealous of you??
Adil
ANYWAY
Adil
Noah, I am so happy you’ve finally embraced this wonderful bonding community that we call the Blackcastle Group Chat
Adil
I will make us matching T-shirts!
Noah Wilson has left the conversation.
Adil
Aw, man
Samson
He did tell you not to be weird about it
Adil
Shut up, Samson
CHAPTER 54
CARINA
The hot, muggy days of August gave way to the crisp evenings of September. Now that summer was over, life returned to full swing. Noah was busy with the new club season, Evie was settling into Year 7, and I was incredibly busy but happy with my new job at Westhaven. It was everything I wanted—the opportunity to work with animals, to teach children, and to have a meaningful project that I could fully own.
I was sad to leave RAB, which had been a big part of my life for so many years, but it was time to move on. Lavinia thought so too.
