I managed to press the code into my door with Rain still draped over my arms, then used my elbow to push the door handle down. Once I was inside, I gently kicked the door back shut with my foot, waiting to hear the lock engage once more, then headed for my room.

Rain made a small noise of protest when I gently laid them on the mattress. “Dongo,” they mumbled.

“I’m not,” I promised. As if I’d fucking leave their side ever again unless absolutely necessary. Rain was mine, and I planned to stick to them like fucking Gorilla Glue. “Just need to get these clothes and shoes off you so you’re more comfortable.”

They barely managed a nod. I hurriedly slipped their shoes off them, tossing them to the floor before pulling the rest of their clothes off, revealing their perfect body, all lean lines and wiry muscles. Fuck, Rain was made for me. A little bratty, definitely needy, and holding a hidden strength most would never think they had.

After covering them with the comforter, I stripped out of my own clothes, then slid into bed beside them, wrapping an arm around their waist and drawing them back against me. Then, I grabbed my phone and opened up the group chat with my brothers.

Me

They passed out as soon as we got in the car, and they’ve barely been lucid since.

Ike

It’s literally way past fucking midnight. Go to bed.

If I’d never seen Ike with Merit, I would’ve always believed Ike felt nothing. He was the emptiest out of all of us, but somewhere in his dark soul, he had the capability to at least obsess over someone enough to do right by them.

Probably just had too rough of a night. Cut them some slack.

They could be experiencing subdrop, especially if you were rough when you fucked. Happens to Korain quite a bit. It’s normal. Korain just told me it helps when I cuddle him and take care of him until he comes out of it, and it seems to work like a charm, so try that with Rain. Good luck.

Thank fuck for Onyx. He was a bit of a dick, and he definitely didn’t know boundaries. Out of all my brothers, he annoyed me the most. But he was possibly the most human out of us quadruplets.
