The searing ache that radiated through my lower body when I tried to move made my vision blur. How was anyone supposed to enjoy this?
“Zeke? Talk to me. Did I hurt you?”
I shook my head rapidly, unable to speak, gnawing at my lip as if the pain there would distract me from other parts of me. It didn’t work. Of course it didn’t work.
I waited until the pain turned into a dull ache before shifting, testing whether moving would break me or if I could manage it. When it felt like I could breathe again, I looked at him. “You’re big.”
He grinned. “You’re good for my ego. Do we need to stop? You can do it instead if you don’t like this.”
I shook my head again. “No,” I snapped. Softer, I said, “No. This is what I want. Just give me a second.”
He slid his hands up and down my thighs to soothe me. “Whatever you need.”
The burning I’d felt before faded, replaced by the same fullness I’d experienced earlier with his fingers—only way more intense.
When it felt like I could take more, I breathed out and eased down another inch. It didn’t hurt as much as taking the head had, but a dull throbbing remained. Again, I reminded myself that I could do it. I could take it. Another inch. Another. My eyes screwed shut, making it impossible to see what Cyn was doing, but judging by his ragged breathing, he was enjoying himself.
It didn’t take much longer, but it felt like it took forever before I was seated completely on his lap.
“Fuck, you’re so tight,” Cyn groaned.
I shifted, angling my hips differently, attempting to get comfortable, but nearly collapsed at the fireworks that ignited behind my eyelids.
His hands flew to my hips and squeezed. “That it?”
What was he talking about?
I opened my eyes and cried out when he pushed up into me, bumping that spot again. I collapsed forward and buried my face in his neck, panting against his sweat-slick skin.
His hand ran up and down my spine while the other massaged my hip. “You’re doing so well. You took all of me.”
“Full. I feel so full,” I mumbled, my entire body shaking against his, overwhelmed by intense emotions and a mix of dull pain and growing pleasure.
He kissed the side of my head. “You’re such a good boy.” He hissed when my insides clenched in response to the praise. “You really do like that, don’t you?”
I lifted my head, and he leaned up, licking a tear I couldn’t hold back from my cheek. My emotions were all over the place.
“Do you know how much I love you?”
I froze, staring at him with wide eyes.
“What? Are you going to leave me hanging?” His tone sounded playful, but the way he glanced away and his cheekbones darkened told me he was serious. Serious and waiting.
My throat clicked as I swallowed. “I know you love me.”
“And you know I don’t mean like a brother.”
I couldn’t hold eye contact.
“Zeke. You know that, don’t you?”
More tears slid down my cheeks. “Yeah,” I whispered.
He’d said he was mine. He’d said all the right things. But hearing those words still felt different. It shifted things in my head and made me feel like what we had would last beyond this bedroom.
“Zeke,” Cyn whispered, brushing my cheek with his fingers, bringing my attention back to him. “Tell me it’s the same for you.”
“I do. I mean, it is.” I paused. “It’s the same, I mean.” When he chuckled, I looked at his ear. “I love you too.”
