“I know about tomorrow,” he said.

I doubted that, but my blank expression wasn’t blank enough.

Lark continued. “Or I can damn well guess, and it’s one more reason you should be here.”

I wasn’t giving in, but I also wasn’t going to argue with him any further. “Are we finished?”

He glared at me. “Yeah.”

My shift had ended five minutes ago. For once, I didn’t stay late.

Tundra held both of my hands down on the bed while he glided his cock in and out of my pussy. He stared at me the whole time - his love evident in his eyes and his actions. Part of me wondered if he thought this was the last time he’d be able to do this, but I would not let my mind go there.

“Harder, honey,” I whispered.

“Not yet, sweetheart.”

I clenched my muscles around him and he groaned.

My teeth grazed my bottom lip. I watched his eyes focus on my lips.

“Kiss me, Tundra.”

He lowered his lips to mine…and was still exceedingly gentle. After a moment, he gradually increased his tempo, and whether he realized it or not, he began to slam into me.

Delicious.

My neck arched, breaking the kiss. “Yes.”

He put his face to my neck and sucked. I moaned. Marking me probably wasn’t the best idea, but at this point, I didn’t give a damn.

He slid his lips up to my ear. “I love you, Mickayla.”

I turned my head to look in his eyes. “I love you, too, Tundra.”

“Never forget that, baby.”

There was a finality in that tone that I didn’t like.

I wrapped a leg around his upper thighs. “I won’t, my man.”

“Damn right I’m your man,” he said, leaning away and finally quickening his pace.

He let go of one of my hands to rub my clit. I didn’t just love his touch, I would always love his touch. He pressed harder, and the building sensations crested as my orgasm washed over me. A moment later, I felt him come inside me.

Since he still held one of my hands, I pulled his hand to my lips and kissed it.

“Fuck, my woman’s bein’ sweet.”

“So are you,” I whispered.

“Love you,” he breathed.

“Love you, too.”

After we both cleaned up, we were laying in the dark, snuggling. Or at least, I was snuggling and debating whether to broach the elephant in the room.

“You’re worried,” I whispered.
