“Don’t say that too loudly. You can barely fit their egos through the door as it is.”

“Don’t let him boss you around, Lois,” Asa said. “You can tell us how hot we are all you want.”

“Yeah,” Avi added.

“Excuse me,” Felix said, his tone withering.

Avi immediately looked contrite. “What? I’m just saying if he wants to admire the sheer perfection before him, you shouldn’t stop him, kitten.”

“See what you started?” Felix teased.

“I love you,” Zane said.

“I know,” Felix said, smacking a kiss onto the top of his wet head. “I love you, too.”

“Aww,” Asa and Avi crooned mockingly.

“I hate them.”

“No, you don’t,” Felix said with a sigh. “I don’t either…unfortunately,” he said, emphasizing the last word loudly.

The two brothers laughed, their inflated egos more than intact.

Zane settled deeper against Felix, smiling to himself.

His mother would have a stroke if she could see him now. Not only had he married a billionaire and created this insanely successful niche for himself as a crime blogger and fiction writer, but he had Felix and Avi, too.

She would be horrified by their relationship with each other. Not like the rumors weren’t already out there, swirling around, but now, the rumors were true.

Zane grinned to himself. Holy shit. The rumors were true. He’d essentially had his first orgy.

“What are you smiling about, Lois?” Asa asked, suspicious.

He shrugged. “Nothing… Nothing at all.”

“Am I crazy?”

Zane looked down at the top of Felix’s head where it was cradled against his stomach. He’d been waiting for Felix to tell him why he’d come home from work looking two seconds away from crying. But it was better not to pry with Felix. He needed time to process, to think through his feelings before he word-vomited them into the world.

That was how they came to be snuggled in bed, just the two of them, both in their underwear, Zane half sitting, half lying down, Felix’s long, lithe body between his open legs as he combed his hair through silky dark tresses. Felix was so beautiful. He was so pretty and so unique that sometimes Zane found himself staring, wishing he was any kind of artist so he could capture what he felt when he looked at him with some kind of tangibility.

“You have a collection of cat claw jewelry that costs more than most people’s houses, so I’m gonna need some more context, Lixie,” Zane teased.

Felix made a whiny, frustrated sound, making Zane giggle as he rubbed his face against his bare stomach. “I’m serious,” Felix sulked.

Zane grinned, fisting his hands in Felix’s hair to point his face towards him. “I know you’re serious. I just don’t know what we’re talking about.”

Felix blew a breath out through his nose. “Babies. We’re talking about babies.”

Okay, they were making progress. “Whose babies? There’s a startling number of them lately.”

“Our babies,” Felix said. “Or baby or maybe babies. Offspring. Our offspring.”

“Ours? As in you and me?” Zane asked. “‘Cause I don’t think either of us can make that happen. It’s kind of a lock and key situation, and no matter how many times you put your key in my lock or vice versa, there will be no baby. Not until science takes a giant leap forward. Also, we’re not really allowed to…you know…without the others.”

“Will you be serious?” Felix said, poking Zane in the ribs.

Zane frowned. “What is going on? Just tell me.”
