I leaned closer. “He manages their money?” I looked at Eleanor. “How much money do they have that they need someone just to look after it?”
“A considerable amount.”
Nora snorted. “Closer to twenty times our own Pack’s wealth.”
“I would say fifty,” Eleanor said.
I stared at her, then looked around the enormous tea room. “But… you look really wealthy to me.”
Ivy laughed, and Eleanor smiled. “Your fathers have made an enviable fortune through their businesses, but Stormforge’s wealth is on an entirely different scale. Their fortune has grown over many generations, along with their estates, investments and commercial holdings. You will never need to worry about money.”
“Wow.” I read further down the profile.
MOTHER: BETA — HELENA IRONHART
Another Beta mother. Okay. Definitely remembered that one. Then another line caught my attention.

“And he enjoys giving gifts!” Ivy sat straighter. “He’s my favourite Alpha.”
I turned to her. “I thought your favourite was Caius.”
“There is more to a man than his looks, Elowen.”
Eleanor reached for her pad again, and Leon’s almost-smiling face disappeared. Then something occurred to me.
“Wait!” I turned to Eleanor. “How come you haven’t shown us any more shirtless images? Did you only have one of Alaric?”
“I have…” Eleanor’s smile widened. “Images of all of them without their shirts. Would you care to see them?”
“Yes!” Nora and Ivy replied at the same time I said, “No!”
They looked at me as though I’d betrayed them.
“No more gawking at my mates. You can gawk at your own when you have them,” I said playfully. Mostly.
Eleanor moved on to my final future Alpha.
DARIUS STORMFORGE
He had dark-brown hair, shorter at the sides and slightly longer on top, as though he’d run a hand through it before the image was taken. Short stubble darkened his square, rugged jaw, and his grey-blue eyes were fixed just beyond whoever had taken the image.
“I can’t believe I have five mates and they’re all this handsome.”
“Mother!” Nora exclaimed. “When did Elowen become so concerned with appearances? Just look at her. She isn’t the least bit ashamed. Surely there is more to an Alpha than a handsome face and a fine physique.”
Eleanor shook her head sadly. “I did my best, darling, but even the most careful upbringing offers no guarantees.”
I stared at her. Was Eleanor actually joining in?
“I dare say I feel sorry for my poor Leon,” Ivy added solemnly.
That did it. I burst into laughter. “You’re all enjoying this far too much.”
Nora collapsed against the sofa, laughing. “I fear we’ve lost her, Mother.”
“Entirely,” Eleanor agreed, adding more information to the display.
