Dora's mouth tightens.
Just slightly. But I see it.
“What?”
“It’s nothing.”
“Aggie.”
“I don't know what you want me to say.”
“I just want to help—”
“Really, then how about telling me where the hell he is?”
She looks away.
Oh.
Oh, no.
“You know something.”
“I don't.”
“You know something.”
“Aggie—”
“What?”
She doesn't answer. And because my life apparently isn't irritating enough, Wulfy chooses that moment to walk into the faculty lounge.
He takes one look at us.
“What happened?”
“Your friend screwed me, bit me, then disappeared on me,” I say bluntly.
Wulfy's expression changes. Barely. But enough.
“Oh my Goddess, you know something too!”
He sighs. That is not a denial.
“Look, magical bites mean something and if we’re gonna fix this I need to know. Now, where is he?”
“Aggie—”
“No. Don't Aggie me. Where is Grimm?”
“I can't answer that.”
“Can't or won't?”
His jaw tightens.
“Both.”
