Frozo pulled off.
“And what happens if Carter start looking like your ass?”
“She won’t.”
“You don’t know that.”
“She look like Avery.”
“You keep saying that like genetics signed a contract with you.”
“Man, shut up.”
“I’m just saying. One day that little girl might walk into the room with your whole fucking face.”
“Then I’ll say she look like her Uncle Xay.”
Frozo stared at me.
I started laughing.
“You are a sick nigga.”
“Problem solved.”
“No. Problem postponed.”
“Same difference.”
“No, the fuck it ain’t.”
I leaned back in the seat.
He was thinking too fucking hard about this shit.
I’d been managing everything fine.
Avery wasn’t bothering me.
Heather had her moments, but I knew how to calm her ass down.
Sam didn’t know shit.
And as long as Sam didn’t know shit, my house was good.
That was what mattered.
Frozo glanced at me again.
“So where the other eleven coming from?”
I sighed.
“Here we go.”
“I’m serious.”
“I’ll figure it out.”
