“All this shit.”
I looked out the window.
“What shit?”
“This nigga.” He laughed. “You got four kids at home with your wife. Avery already had your baby. Heather about to drop another one in two fucking weeks. You owe your brother fifteen thousand dollars. What the fuck is your endgame?”
“Ain’t no endgame.”
“Exactly. That’s the problem.”
I sucked my teeth.
“Ain’t shit gotta happen.”
Frozo looked at me.
I shrugged.
“Everybody stay in they fucking lane, everybody good.”
He stared at me for another second before he started laughing.
Not chuckling either.
This nigga was dying.
“What?”
“Everybody stay in they lane?”
“Yeah.”
“They all in the same fucking family, Xavier. What lanes?”
I started laughing too.
“I’m serious.”
“So am I! Sam and Avery got the same fucking parents. Heather they cousin. These bitches probably got a family group chat together and your dumb ass talking about lanes.”
“They do got a family group chat.”
Frozo slapped the steering wheel.
“See!”
“Man, shut the fuck up.”
“Nah. You need help.”
“I’m good.”
“No, you’re not.”
“I’m great.”
“You owe fifteen bands and got two secret babies.”
