Nesha leaned over again.
I turned my phone away.
“What he say?”
“He told me come see him later.”
“And you going?”
I didn’t answer.
She smiled.
I shook my head and put my phone down.
“You really think this is feelings?”
“Yes.”
I looked at her.
Nesha shrugged.
“I’m not saying you in love with the nigga. I’m saying you need to stop pretending this is just fucking when you’re literally planning your day around seeing him.”
That shut me up.
Because technically—
I had already started calculating it.
Damn.
“Whatever.”
Nesha laughed.
“That’s what I thought.”
I leaned my head back underneath the dryer.
I wasn’t thinking about feelings.
I was thinking about what the hell Heather and Avery wanted.
Whatever it was, I’d handle it.
Then I’d go home.
Deal with whatever Xay claimed we needed to talk about.
And maybe later, if I felt like it, I’d go see Levin.
Simple.
At least that’s what I thought.
I had no fucking idea that in less than an hour, I was about to find out my husband had two whole babies sitting inside my family that belonged to him.
