“Goddamn.”
The bathroom door closed.
I grabbed my phone.
Heather had texted twice more.
Avery had sent another message about her money.
Frozo had sent me some laughing emojis.
I didn’t give a fuck about none of them right then.
I looked toward the bathroom door and chuckled.
Sam had been asking me forever to switch shit up. Always wanting to try something different, go somewhere different, do some freaky shit I usually brushed off.
I just never looked at my wife like that.
I knew she had a freaky side. I just ain’t know the shit had been sitting in her waiting to bust out like that.
I shook my head, still trying to catch my breath.
“Crazy ass woman.”
Maybe I should’ve been letting her have her way a long fucking time ago.

SAMANTHA
That morning was fucking crazy.
The kids were officially on Thanksgiving break, and I could already see that our apartment—which was already packed with the six of us on a regular day—was about to be packed with even more people come Thanksgiving.
I stood in front of the open refrigerator trying to figure out where the fuck I was supposed to put a turkey, two pans of macaroni and cheese, greens, yams, potato salad, drinks, pies and whatever else everybody planned on bringing when I barely had space for the shit already in here.
Luckily, I was off this Thanksgiving.
I’d worked last year, so this year I made damn sure my schedule was clear. No twelve-hour shift. No eating a hospital plate while everybody sent me pictures from home. I could actually cook, sit down and enjoy the holiday with my family.
At least that was the plan.
But I was already stressed and stretched to the fucking top.
I’d invited Nesha, Tyrell and Chance. Avery was coming with Carter. Heather was coming with Collin. My parents were supposed to stop by. The kids were here, obviously.
And then Levin.
I sighed.
Levin.
I was still thinking about that nigga.
More specifically, I was still thinking about the fucking video I’d sent him last night of me fucking Xay.
