“I was thinking the same thing,” I breathe, and I know he can feel my heartbeat against his finger. “I wonder what else we can do?” I lift a brow, and he dips his head.

“I have ideas,” he hums.

“Want to share?” I lick my lips, and he looks at them. “I’m definitely a visual learner.”

“Yeah?” He flexes his fingers.

“Oh, yeah,” I say slowly.

“Good to know,” he whispers, and kisses me.

Since my hands are bound, I stretch as much as I can, rubbing against him. He gets the message and steps closer. The kiss is deep and desperate. He trails his hand down, between my breasts, to my waist, and continues until he’s grasping my hip. Pulling, his fingers grip, urging me to roll my hips. As much as I love to touch him, his control makes me hot.

Easing back, he allows a moment to breathe before connecting again. Just as consuming as the last kiss, I want to disappear with him. Forget about Travis, Betty, and my sister coming. Griffon becomes an unwelcome memory. Archer gives me everything I need, and no one can beat us while together.

I lift my foot, curling it around his calf, and he slides his hand down my thigh, bunching the fabric of my skirt. Curling his fingers, he yanks my thigh up and around his hip. He rips his mouth away, our breath harsh in the peaceful environment.

“Archer,” I groan.

“Your power makes me hard,” he says roughly.

“I can tell.” I tilt my hips and groan.

“You surprise me, Wild One.” He lifts his head, a slight grin on his full lips.

“Is this a good thing?” I’m burning up.

“Very,” he responds.

“I think we need to explore this further,” I encourage, tilting my chin up. “Touch me, Archer.”

I lick his bottom lip, and he hisses.

Squeezing my wrists, he then releases them, and I know he wants me to keep them in place. He shoves his hand under my hair and grips my neck, pulling me. Our mouths open briefly before we fuse together, hunger in every stroke of our tongues. He jerks my skirt out of the way and glides his palm over my skin.

I’m pulled out of the pleasure when I feel my magic throbbing in my chest. Archer is startled as I yank back.

“Savy?” he rumbles.

“Someone broke my protection spell.” I frown. My spell would keep anyone with bad intentions out. “I can’t tell who, but I can guess.”

“Shit.” He drops his head, pressing his forehead to my shoulder as he lowers my leg.

“I missed her, but I’m going to kill her,” I groan.

Aria is early, and now I’m hot, desperate, and frustrated.

I need to get her out of my home and at Archer’s cabin, so he can finish what he started.

Chapter Sixteen

Savy

Brushing down my skirt, I walk toward the house, glaring at my open door. She knew I would come right away when I felt a disturbance. My magic is strong, so even though Aria broke through, the spell warns me. Archer follows me inside, and my sister is leaning against the counter, facing the door, eating my cookie dough.

“It took you long enough,” she snarks, licking her fingers.

“You didn’t tell me you were close,” I grumble, putting my hands on my hips.
