I tilt my head. “What the fuck is he doing here?”
“It doesn’t matter. I have the address of where he’ll be tomorrow night, and he’s the one I want taken out. I’ll pay the fee.”
“Jesus,” Declan swears under his breath.
“I want half wired up front and the other half when it’s done,” I inform him. “Where will he be tomorrow?”
“At a gala with his daughter.”
“Am I taking Gianna out too?”
Cillian’s eyes go hard. “No. If one hair on her head is touched, I’ll kill you myself.”
Interesting.
“How many guards will he have?”
“For two hundred and fifty million, you can figure that out yourself,” Finn growls.
I turn to Cillian. “I’ll take him out as a bonus. No extra fee.”
For the first time, all three of them laugh.
“There are days that I’d take you up on that, but I’m rather fond of him,” Cillian says. “I’ll have the money wired within the hour.”
Once dinner is finished, I head to my hotel and call Julian.
“You have the worst fucking timing,” he growls in my ear.
“Not sorry. I need eyes inside a gala tomorrow night in New Orleans. I also need intel on how many guards Giovanni Romano has with him in New Orleans, where he’s staying, and what his weak points are.”
“He doesn’t have weak points,” Julian says, his voice hard and all business. “I take it he’s a mark?”
I don’t say anything in return.
“Fuck. Send me the address. I’ll get you blueprints, security-footage access, and everything you’ll need, but I want a cut.”
“I’ll send you half.”
“And how much is that?”
I grin. “A fuck ton. Thanks, brother.”
I hang up and call my wife, but it goes to voicemail, so I dial Bacon.
“Boss.”
“Where is she?”
“She and Mildred took the kid out for dinner,” he informs me. “I sent you our location an hour ago. We’re at the diner in your resort. Charlie wanted burgers, and Ms. Rina said she felt safest at King of Spades.”
That’s my girl.
“Good. Put her on.”
There’s rustling, and then my wife’s voice is in my ear.
“Hi, handsome.”
